How to use the Georeference Tool
Available with any of the following subscriptions:

- Land id™ Pro Unlimited Plan
Definition
The Land id™ "Georeference Tool" is a powerful feature that enables you to accurately "place" a digital image (e.g. survey, site plan) onto an aerial map in its appropriate real world location.
Opacity controls help you see every layer and custom control points ensure proper visual alignment.
Key benefits
- Accurate Positioning: Ensures precise location of map features relative to real-world coordinates.
- Better Visualization: Quickly and accurately reference any survey or site plan onto your map
- Improved communications: Help stakeholders visualize a project and how it relates to the surrounding area
Caution: The file must be an image (jpg, jpeg, png), not a PDF.
Limitation:
- While georeferenced image can be viewed in the desktop and mobile app, they can only be imported and edited in the desktop version of Land id™.
- Georeferenced images will not currently be exported with the print maps.
