Definition
Land id maps and folders can be transferred to other users' accounts, allowing your colleagues to obtain your work and make their own edits to the map.
All that is required is the recipient's account email (with a Premium or Pro subscription), and the map or folder can be transferred with a click of a button.
Note: Transferring maps or folders will remove it from your account and you will no longer have access. To send a copy of a map or folder while keeping the original, please refer here: Copy Maps or Folders to other users.

Key benefits
- Transfer Ownership: Create a map and transfer it to landowners, colleagues, and more.
- Map Collaboration: Users can transfer maps back and forth to collaborate on the mapping process.
- Share Folders: Send several maps at once by sharing entire folders with one click.
Limitations
- Transferred maps will be removed from your account.
- Transferred maps are added to the recipient's custom map list. The recipient must have an active Land id Premium or Pro subscription to make edits. Additionally, the transferred map will count towards the recipient's three map limit (Premium and Pro plans).
- To share your map without transferring ownership to another account, it is best to send a share link instead. Info on that can be found here: https://support.id.land/sharing-maps
