Land id™ Mapping Services is an additional, paid service where you can have a Land id™ and GIS expert create a detailed map of your property project in your Land id™ account.

What types of maps can Mapping Services make?

Great question! Our Mapping Services team has deep Land id™ and GIS expertise, and we have developed solutions for almost every request we've gotten so far. Some of the standard maps we create are:

• Listing map (e.g., residential listing, ag listing, commercial listing, luxury listing)
• Development map (e.g. new development map)
• Land owner map (e.g., farm map, recreational ranch map) 
• Project planning map (e.g., fencing map, subdividing map, site selection map)
• Speciality map (e.g., event map, comps map, sold properties map)

How does a Mapping Services engagement work? 

Here’s what you can expect:

1. Your share property details:  Fill out a quick form with the property details and any additional files (e.g. site plans, surveys, photos) you’d like us to include in your map.

2. We provide a Statement of Work (SOW) for your approval:  We’ll provide details and price for you to review and approve.

3. We create your map:  Our experienced GIS professionals will create a detailed, compelling map based on your property and specifications and our industry mapping expertise.

4. You provide feedback:  We provide a draft map for your review. Based on your feedback, we’ll update to ensure the final map meets your expectations.

5. You get a ready-to-use property map: Your final property map will be available in your Land id™ account.

6. Optional training:  If we’ve built a map for you, we can train you and/or your team to maintain it.

How long does it take for Mapping Services to make my map?

We can provide a draft within five business days once we have the required information to build the map. Then, based on your feedback, we will make a round of revisions before finalizing the map. Most maps are completed within 1-2 weeks. 

With that said, we ask about your deadlines and do our best to support projects with shorter turnaround times.
