Step 1: Sign In or Create an Account:
- Open your web browser and navigate to the Land id™ website.
- Sign in to your existing Land id™ account or create a new account if needed.
Step 2: Create a New Map or Use an Existing One:
- Once logged in, click the "Create New Map" button to initiate a new project.
- Select the applicable state for your work.
- Click "Get Started" to proceed, or choose a previously worked-on map.
Step 3: Accessing the Deed Drawing Tool:
- After creating or accessing a map, find the "Shapes" option in the left-hand toolbar under the Feature Palette section.
- Choose the desired boundary line appearance.
- Click on a boundary to reveal the Deed Drawer option in the upper right corner. This option will also appear when clicking on an existing boundary, allowing you to adjust or add calls as necessary.
Step 4: Add Deed Calls:
- Start by marking the initial point of the property's boundary on the map (click directly on the map).
- Tip: You can move the finished boundary like a puzzle piece.
- Set the first Arc by inputting direction (N, S, E, W), Degrees, Minutes, Seconds, and distance in the provided fields. You can also change Distance Units at the top of the window.
- Continue adding deed calls by repeating the direction and distance entry for each boundary point.
Step 5: Include Curve Calls (Optional):
- If curved segments are part of your property's boundaries, use the "Add Curve" button in the Deed Drawing tool. Provide the curve's radius, chord, and direction.
Step 6: Complete the Boundary Drawing:
- Keep adding Arc and Curve calls to outline the full property boundary.
- Double-check the accuracy of each call entry for precise boundary representation.
Step 7: Save and Finalize:
- After accurately defining the property's boundaries with deed calls, click "Finish" to save the deed drawing.
- You can generate a report of the deed and callouts if desired.

Tips and Tricks:
- Keep track of calls to ensure you do not enter calls twice or lose your spot.
- If you are not sure of your Point of Beginning (POB), approximate the starting point and you can adjust the location upon completing the drawing.

- When drawing curves, Arc Length and Radius will usually suffice, but you can add the Chord Data (if part of your description) in the Advanced Options section to correct and adjust curves that are not drawing as expected.
- The Generate Report option generates a PDF that contains the drawing, all of your calls, and a closure value indicating the distance and angle of the closing error (if any).
